Is this a hold up ?

On alternate years our school hosted a group of Russian students from Moscow.

On one of these visits I offered to transport the group to Heathrow airport for their early morning return flight.

I was already in possession of the minibus keys, as the previous day I had taken a group of athletes and equipment to a District Sports event. This ended very late and certain pieces of equipment were not off-loaded back into the PE store, but left in the minibus.

The twelve Russian students, plus their two teachers, were being hosted by families and as a result we had to wait until all had arrived at the school that particular morning in readiness for their trip to Heathrow and home.

We were running very late and the risk of them all missing the flight was highly likely.

Eventually, upon their arrival at Terminal 2 at Heathrow, I rapidly offloaded my passengers and all their assorted luggage.

When I arrived back at school I was informed, that in my haste to ensure the group did not miss their flight, I had given one of the students not only their own luggage but also a holdall with three starting guns      inside them!  This had shown up on the passenger screening x-ray machines.

I was duly summoned to attend Heathrow Police station to explain why I had taken firearms onto the airport site.    They were not amused !
